Don Karns owns and runs Step Change Solutions LLC, a training and management consulting company that provides Management and Human Resources solutions in the areas of Staffing selection, Succession Planning, Management Development, Employee Development, Performance Management, Compliance, Organizational Assessments and High Performance Leadership Programs.

 

Don has many years of management experience in different areas with special expertise in Human Resources including filling the role of Employee Relations Manager at the Duke Energy Oconee Nuclear Site.

 

Don holds a Masters degree in Organizational Management from Southern Wesleyan University.

 

Don has a passion for effective leadership skills.  He is the current membership chair of the Oconee Area Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) chapter of which he was the 2004 President.  He currently serves as the Chairman of the Oconee Business Education Partnership, Secretary of the Clemson Calhoun Rotary Club, Vice President of Membership of the Manufacturing, Industry and Technology Networking chapter in Greenville and he is an adjunct professor at the Greenville campus of Webster University teaching Human Resources courses.
